This policy explains how Yum Channel handles data from the TikTok accounts connected to it. Only accounts owned or managed by our team are connected.
2. Data we read
After the account owner approves access through TikTok, we read:
- Basic profile information: account ID, display name and avatar.
- Account statistics: follower, following, like and video counts.
- Public video information: video ID, title or description, creation time, and view, like, comment and share counts.
We do not read passwords, private messages, or the names or contents of individual comments.
3. How we use it
We use this data only to show channel statistics and prepare daily reports for our team.
4. Storage and security
Data and access tokens are stored on a computer controlled by our team. Access tokens are kept private and are used only to read the data listed above.
5. Sharing
We do not sell this data and do not share it with third parties, unless the law requires it. Reports are for our team's internal use.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep the daily statistics while they are useful for reporting. When an account owner removes access or asks us to delete data, we stop reading new data and delete that account's tokens and stored statistics.
7. Your choices
You may remove access at any time in your TikTok account settings. You may also contact us to ask about, correct or delete data linked to your account.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version and its effective date are published on this page.
